Congratulations to Ribbleton for winning the league, it is thoroughly deserved. In atrocious conditions both sets of boys put in a fantastic performance, every credit to the Ref for stepping in at a very late stage. Either side could have won this game but after a great 1st half from Town who went in 2 - 1 up after a good finish from Nathan and a deflected effort from Nathan, Ribbleton finished the stronger team and could have pinched it at the death. Fanastic effort by all the players, managers, coaches of both teams and to those who helped out in freezing conditions!
